Creative Jarjums Art Class
Embarking on a creative journey where storytelling and art collide!
Weaving traditional and modern art together, the CREATIVE JARJUMS ART CLASS explores symbolism by using an array of mediums through creative expression - fostering a deeper connection towards ancestral roots and Aboriginal culture.
Creative Jarjums Art Class provides a safe space for children to delve into their ancestral heritage through the universal language of art. Each class allows children to experience the exhilaration of unleashing creativity while journeying through culture alongside Chloe, a Wiradjuri Yaegl woman.
CREATIVE JARJUMS (CHILDREN)
The CREATIVE JARJUMS ART CLASSES are designed for Primary School aged children and run in correspondence to the NSW school term dates. Parents are welcome to drop off and stay near by throughout the duration of each class session - there is a seating lounge area located in front of the M|ARTS café onsite.
Children are encouraged to explore Aboriginal culture and art through creative expression using a range of mediums including paint, clay, collage and illustration. Each class focuses on a set theme and may carry over into the following weeks class, the mediums explored are used to compliment the class theme and enhance our jarjums creativity.
